Lieskau wind farm (Germany)
Mario Runco & Figlio Srl also landed in Germany, using the Liebherr LG 1750 SL7 DHS configuration, with 153 m boom for the Lieskau wind farm. The project involves cooperation with Vestas Germany for the lifting of V112 turbines with a 140 m tower. The wind farm is located in Northeastern Germany and was the first of a series of projects that will involve us, covering the entire Teutonic nation.
Chirnogeni wind farm (Romania)
The first wind turbine built in Europe by Mario Runco & Figlio Srl was installed by Liebherr LG 1750 in the Chirnogeni wind farm (Romania). The contract was awarded by Iberdrola Engineering & Construction for 80 MW of power. The Nordex turbine manufacturer has assigned to our company “MR&F” the installation of 15 N90 / 2500 turbines. The wind farm is located in the Dobrogea region near the Black Sea. In this windy spot, the average wind speed is higher than 7 / ms, so the N90 / 2500 turbines used are well suited for setting up the wind farm. The crane configuration is as follows: LG 1750 SL8HS configuration with a lattice boom length of 112 6 m, 245 tons of counterweights and a radius of 18m.
